Jérôme Barbeillon had a furious start of the championship

SCHILTIGHEIM - The first finalist in the French championship for teams is known. Andernos beat its soulbrother Kozoom with the maximum score this morning (8-0) and qualified for the final. Agipi and Laxou meet later today for the other final place.

Jérôme Barbeillon and Francis Connesson were the stars in the team Andernos. They even scored higher averages than Dick Jaspers and Filippos Kasidokostas, the two leaders of the team.

Jérôme Barbeillon, who made a strong impression at the European championship, where he was beaten by Kasidokostas after he had missed a match point, signed for the 4-0 lead at the break beating Frédéric Mottet 50-31 in 28 innings.

The old master Connesson not only played a great match, but also signed up for the highest run in the session (13). He defeated Marc Boigneres with a big margin (50-30 in 31).

Dick Jaspers and Roland Forthomme were in balance in the first part of their match (17-14, 27-26), but at the end Jaspers showed himself the strongest: 50-42 in 36.

Peter De Backer was slightly longer in the match against Kasidokostas, but eventually had bow for the Greek 50-46 in 32.

With averages of 1.563 (Kasidokostas), 1.89 (Jaspers), 1.786 (Barbeillon) and 1.613 (Connesson) the Andernos team launched itself as a great competitor for the other finalist.
