Survival Masters: draw for the pre rounds

SEOUL - In the match room where the Survival 3 Cushion Masters will be launched tomorrow (Thursday), the draw of the eight groups of four players has been completed. The eight group leaders, Dick Jaspers, Semih Sayginer, Marco Zanetti, HaengJik Kim, Eddy Merckx, Sameh Sidhom, Quyet Chien Tran and Tayfun Tasdemir, were linked to the players of the world ranking, the wildcards and the eight players who qualified in the preliminary rounds. In these eight groups, four players meet in one match according to the system of the Survival Masters with a special score.

The tournament starts on Thursday 19 September with matches from 12.00 to 22.00 (Korean time). The sequel is on Friday with the remainder of the qualifications and the second chance rounds. On Saturday the quarterfinals are at 16.00. On Sunday the semi-finals are at 17.00 and 19.00 and the final at 22.00. All matches can be followed live on Kozoom.

The new rules:
1.Main Tournament - Last32 : 8 groups of 4 players
-1st place of each group advance to Last16 (8 players)
Best 4 seconds advance to Last16 (4 players)
-Lower 4 seconds of each groups move to the 2nd Consolation Match (4 players)
-3rd & 4th place of each group play in Last 32 move to the 1st Consolation match
(16 players)
2. the 1st Consolation Match : 4 groups of 4 players
-1st & 2nd place of each group in the 1st Consolation advance to the 2nd Consolation
Match (8 players)
3. the 2nd Consolation Match : 3 Groups of 4 players
-1st place of each groups advance to Last16 (3 players)
the best second advance to Last16 (1 player)
4. Main Tournament - Last16 to Final : 4 groups of 4 players

The total prize money is $ 258,600.
