BAD WILDUNGEN - Sven Daske once again was the star player at the German multidisciplinary championship. In the discipline one cushion, he not only took his third gold, also his fourth medal in four tournaments.
In the final, Daske defeated one of the other favourites, Markus Dömer, 100-79 in 20 innings. It was the final that was expected with the two best players in this game type. Both won their preliminaries, Sven Daske with three victories, Markus Dömer with two wins and the best average of all players (6.73).
Sven Daske finished a match in five innings, the best of the championship. Arnd Riedel and Stefan Scheler were eliminated in the semi-finals and finished on stage.
