Swedish final between Blomdahl and Nilsson

HELSINGBORG - In the Swedish three cushion championship, which is played in Helsingborg, the two last sessions in the round robin with twelve are played today (Sunday). Torbjörn Blomdahl and Michael Nilsson are on the lead after nine of eleven laps with 18 match points. Torbjörn Blomdahl and Michael Nilsson play the final at 15.00 and show up at noon for the tenth session. Blomdahl then meets Nalle Olsson, Nilsson playes against David Pennör.

Blomdahl has a great average of 2.057 after nine rounds, Nilsson follows with equal match points and 1.773.

The best matches so far were the victories of Blomdahl against Peter Palffy in 11 innings (3.636), vs Tran Moc Tal in 14 innings (2.857) and Lars Ringby in 16 (2.500). Nilsson showed his high class in two excellent matches against Torsten Svendsen (15 innings, 2.667) and Peter Lohmander (16 innings, 2.500).
