The twelve invited players to the Lausanne Billard Masters 2019

LAUSANNE - Diane Wild, organizer of the Lausanne Billiard Masters, has announced the field of twelve players fort he Lausanne Billard Masters, which will be played from 15 to 17 November. The CEB president said: 'We are plroud and happy to announce the participants fort he LBM 2019. What a fantastic edition with the top 6 players in the World ranking, the Junior World champion, the Junior European champion and fort he first time the ladies European and world champion Therese Klompenhouwer.

The Lausanne Billard Masters will traditionally played in the Casino de Montbenon. The participants are:
Dick Jaspers (Netherlands)
Marco Zanetti (Italy)
Eddy Merckx (Belgium)
Semih Sayginer (Turkey)
Tayfun Tasdemir (Turkey)
Jae-Ho Cho (Korea)
Martin Horn (Germany)
Myung-Woo Cho (Korea)
Dani Sánchez (Spain)
Therse Klompenhouwer (Netherlands)
Maxime Panaia (France)
Michel Boulaz (Switzerland).

Diane Wild motivated her choice for players as followed: ''As President of the CEB I always say that our priorities are youth and women billiards. So, as an organizer of LBM, I follow my convinctions. This is a good opportunity to show the inexperienced public that women can play billiard very well. Therese deserves this invitation and I am really happy to welcome her in Lausanne.''

The top 6 ranked plays are Dick Jaspers, Marco Zanetti, Tayfun Tasdemir, Semih Sayginer, Eddy Merckx and Jae-Ho Cho. Dani Sánchez is a 4-times world champion, Myung-Woo Cho the greatest billiard talent in the world. Martin Horn the player who returned to the world top in only two years, Therese Klompenhouwer the world's best lady player with many world and European titles to her name. Maxime Panaia is the European best junior, Michal Boulaz the usual invited home player from Lausanne.
