Dion Nelin played a great match and beat Martin Horn.

TURNHOUT - Two Dutch, who rarely perform in international tournaments, a Belgian master in all disciplines and the playing team captain are on their way to the championship in Belgium. In the cozy billiard center of Guy Litsenborg the team of BC Biljart Express showed his power against the number last, BC Kasteeldreef.

The leader from Turnhout won the match won the match with the largest margin: 8-0. Frans van Kuyk, Gerwin Valentijn, Martin Spoormans and Guy van Litsenborg were superior and didn't need even very high averages for the victory. Gerwin Valentine signed up for the best with 50 in 32 innings.

The most remarkable on top of the rankings was that De Ploeg wasted another point and apparently has give up his chances for the championship. The proud leader of the first half in the competition has los form on the important positions in the team, although Martin Horn is still performing on high level.

The German, one of the star players at the World championships in Viersen last weekend, this time met the unstoppable Dane Dion Nelin, who won 50-46 in 22 innings (averages 2.272/2.090). The highlights were the runs of 14 (Horn) and 12 (Nelin).

Jef Philipoom faced at the end of the match against Christian Rudolph a backlog of 19 points (!), Jean van Erp defeated Leon Smolders, but played below one average. Wesley de Jaeger saved the point for his team by a win against Geert Meylemans.

BC Deurne is still three points behind the leader and the first pursuer. In the away match against Zanzibar, one of the competitors until this week, the team of Dick Jaspers won 8-0. The Dutchman himself defeated Roland Forthomme 50-35 in 25, Jean Paul de Bruijn showed himself too strong for Jimmy Mues 50-41 and in the duels with the younger generation players, Davy van Havere beat Kenny Miatton and Steven van Acker won against Maarten Janssen.

BC Quality forced his way to the team-win in the away match against BC Lugo, where Eddy Merckx, Peter de Backer and Glenn Hoffman took the points for Zele. Glenn Hoffman did it with the best average of his team: 1.615.
