Top players qualify for European championship

HAARLO - The six teams, which will play the European championship for teams in the disciplins 47/2, 71/2 and one cushion, are known. The tournament will be held from 18 to 22 May in Haarlo. Specialists, like Frédéric Caudron, Jean Paul de Bruijn, Dick Jaspers and Pierre Soumagne have qualified with their teams for the final in Haarlo.

The four group winners and two best second from the preliminaries in Oissel, Haarlo and Centelles are divided in two groups in Haarlo. Cubri/Etikom with Henri Tilleman, Patrick Niessen and Jean Paul de Bruijn remained unbeaten in the qualification group in Haarlo. The team of Centelles, with Frédéric Caudron, Esteve Mata, Raul Cuenca, finished in per cents before Bochum in the group Centelles, but the German team with Fabian Blondeel was on of the second best teams in the qualifications.
