Frans van Kuijk had a great finish in his match against Jean Paul de Bruijn.

KAPELLE - The final in the play-offs will be played between the teams of Van Donge en De Roo and Crystal Kelly. The difference between these teams and the other two in the play-offs was immense: the reigning champion Van Donge and De Roo and Crystal Kelly showed their supremacy over two matches and defeated the opponents Delta and Recycling with big scores.

The champion, with Dick Jaspers as his main player, defeated Snellen Recycling again with the maximum score (8-0), Delta had nog any chance against Crystal Kelly in his second match. The team from the organizer was defeated for the second time 6-2 for his home crowd.

The difference in the matches was even more impressive: Frédéric Caudron doesn't show any compassion with Eddy Leppens already for months. He beats his rival and team mate for next year in Holland and Belgium in an easy way and most of the time with big scores. On Thursday Leppens could make 24 caroms, today he was pulverized by Caudron: 50-13 in 15 innings. Leppens was in the final of the match so overwhelmed that he could only make one carom in his last seven innings.

Jean Paul de Bruijn seemed to make a comeback in his second match against Frans van Kuijk, but at 21-20, after a run of twelve of De Bruijn, Van Kuijk attacked to a 50-30 victory in 27 innings. Van Kuijk finished with 3, 6 and 15 in his last three innings.

Peter de Backer took the only win for Delta against Raimond Burgman (50-33 in 40 innings), Raymond Ceulemans won his match against Glenn Hofmann this time. The young guy had defeated the master on Thursday, today Ceulemans won 50-33 in 28 innings.

In the other match between Van Donge and De Roo and Snellen Recycling there wasn't any tension. The champion gave demonstration of his supremacy over two days: twice the score was 8-0.

The best man were Martin Horn and Dick Jaspers today. Horn defeated Barry van Beers 50-33 in 30 innings, Jaspers had a better finish than Roland Forthomme: 50-43 in 30 innings. Torbjörn Blomdahl and Jean van Erp completed the maximal score for the team. Blomdahl defeated Peter Ceulemans 50-31, Jean van Erp won 50-40 against Harry van der Ven.
