ANKARA - The Turkish Billiard Federation has announced the agenda for the 2021 schedule of activities. The program after the COVID-19 period has already started with the regional championships. In the remaining period of 2021, the events that will be organized include the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages in the men's, 2nd and 3rd stages in women's and youth, the veteran competitions and all categories in poolbilliard, as well as three-cushion inter-club.
In addition, the federation refers to the first World Cup three cushion, from 7 to 13 November in Veghel, the Netherlands, the World Cup in Sharm El Sheikh from 28 November to 4 December and the World Championship three cushion in Egypt from 7 to 11 December. Also on the agenda are the Euro Tour matches, to be held 28-30 October in Antalya and the European Billiards Championships, from 1-14 November in Antalya.
The Turkish federation writes: ''We didn't want to start the organizations before our facility was fully prepared. Furthermore, we planned that the match dates of our players who participate in international competitions will not conflict with their national competitions.
The billiard facility in Ankara, Gölbaşı, of which the construction phase has just been completed and the federation is in the process of moving, will host the entire tournament program.
The second part of the Turkish three cushion championship, previously announced by the federation for mid-October, will now be played for the men from 4 November to 18 November. From 19 to 23 November, the ladies, youth and veterans are scheduled.
The third stage of the Turkish championship is from 20-21 December 2021. According to the program of the Turkish Federation, the Three Cushion Promotion League is scheduled for 24-26 December. Once this tournament has ended, the final men's three-cushion tournament, played with 48 athletes, will be on 27 December to 29 December.
