Two speed devils in one round

The first one who went out (Frédéric Caudron) was even faster at the finish than the other (Nikos Polychronopoulos): it was like a duel between the Tour de France sprinters Mark Cavendish and Alessandro Petacchi, this afternoon in the second session of the World Cup in Matosinhos. Filipos Kasidokostas had, comparing to those to matches, a slow and difficult start. He eventually ran to the finish when he felt his faultless sense was back and he could beat the Asian champion Chung Bok Lee 3-1.

The slowist match by far was the duel between Ruben Legazpi and Manuel Rui Costa, who has a lot of more things on his mind these days, because he is involved in the organization. After a marathon five-set match Legazpi took te victory 3-2.
