Torbjörn Blomdahl, leading the rankings with Weywiesen in the bundesliga

The reigning champion BC Weywiesen took the lead by two wins in Germany in a double weekend. The new frontrunner, with Torbjörn Blomdahl at the nr. 1 position, won the away match against rival BC International 2-6 on Saturday after Blomdahl's win over Martin Horn 50-47 in 26. On Sunday, Weywiesen beat Magdeburg also in an away match and again with an excellent Blomdahl, who beat Dion Nelin 50-32 in 19. BC Elversberg, with Peter Ceulemans, is the number two on the rankings, 3 points behind after draws against Elversbein and BC Nied.

BC International squandered the position at the top by losing against Weywiesen on Saturday and against BC Witten on Sunday. On Sunday, Martin Horn was the only winner for BC International, beating Jacob Haack Sörensen 50-37 in 37. In that match, Nikos Polychronopoulos lost to Ronny Lindemann. The German played an excellent match and won 50-25 in 21. On Saturday, only Polychronopoulos won for BC International against Thorsten Frings 50-40 in 36. Michael Nilsson took victory with BC Witten on Saturday against Markus Schönhoff 40-11 in 23, on Sunday the Swede beat German Karaca 40-35 in 30.

Peter Ceulemans (Elversberg) was the better of Robinson Morales 50-45 in 32 on Saturday and of Dustin Jäschke 50-40 in 37 on Sunday. The Belgian travelled straight to the Netherlands after that Sunday match, where he lost his match with Eekhoorn against Jean Paul de Bruijn (40-17 in 18).

BC Elfenbein climbed to fourth place by a win over Sankt Wendel (6-2) and a draw against Elversberg. Dustin Jäschke, Elfenbein's leader, lost his two games. On Saturday Dick Jaspers was too strong 50-39 in 30, on Sunday Peter Ceulemans won 50-40 in 37. Dick Jaspers, who plays for Sankt Wendel team, at the bottom of the ranking with 1 match point out of 6, lost his match against Robinson Morales on Sunday 50-40 in 26. That was Jaspers' second loss in three days against Morales: also in France, the world number one was beaten by the Colombian. Dion Nelin (Magdeburg) won against his compatriot Jacob Haack Sörensen (50-32 in 42) on Saturday, but lost to Blomdahl 50-32 in 19 on Sunday.

The ranking on top in Germany:
1 BC Weywiesen 6-15
2 BC Elversberg 6-12
3 BC International 6-10
