SCHILTIGHEIM - He has been crowned thirteen times in the French championship artistic since 1987. Jean Reverchon is again the man who has to be beaten in the final, that will be played tomorrow.

The Parisian, however, will need all his qualities to win the title again. His biggest competitor is Michael Hammen, who finished in first place in the national ranking tournaments. Hammen, a player of the multi-discipline, gives priority to the artistic. He is only thirty years and has a long time to go. He was certainly disappointed with his performance at the world championship in his own stronghold Florange, in Schiltigheim he hopes to win his first French title.

Another high class player, but not a winners type, is Kevin Tran from Marseille, who won several national tournaments, but never finished higher than the second place in the championship of France. The silver and bronze medal at the championships at the European championships is nevertheless a contender for the title.

The other participants are Olivier Lacroix from Sucy and Brie, Benoit Clement from St Dizier, Patrice Creuzot from Phoceen, Bastien Panis from Versailles and Luc J. Miller of St. Maur.
