MUNICH - The title race of BC Munich in the bundesliga three cushion is almost unstoppable. The leader with a big margin defeated the opponents Elfenbein Höntrop and Bottrop both in home matches in this double weekend with the maximum 8-0 score. The golden crown is already shining on the horizon. Especially at home, the Bayern players are virtually unbeatable.

The foreign leading players Lütfi Cenet and Kostas Kokkoris both won in 20 innings against Höntrop, Schirmbrand in 28 and Christodoulidis in 47. Cenet recorded the best match against Bottrop by beating Christian Rudolph 40-34 in 21 innings. Kokkoris bested Tom Löwe in 33, Schirmbrand won against Bouerdick in 36 and Christodoulidis against Hans-Dieter Müller in 32. Munich has 31 match points now with a 7-point lead over the number two BCC Witten. Witten was the best with two important victories in Saarland. On Saturday St.Wendel was defeated 7-1, on Sunday the BC Elversberg, 5-3.

The draw on Saturday came from the match between Jérôme Barbeillon and Jacob Haack-Sörensen in 42 innings. Ronny Lindemann beat Radovan Hajek 40-29 in 29. On Sunday, Witten finished with an overall average of 1,452 against BC Elversberg, 5-3. Haack-Sörensen played a draw again, now against Peter Ceulemans in 22 innings. Ronny Lindemann was the best man for his team with a win over Philipoom: 40-30 in 20.

BC International Berlin is third now in the table. The team showed up against the German champion BC Magdeburg in only one match for the double weekend. The defending champion has lost some of his glory this year and cannot play a main role in the battle for the title. Berlin played a draw in Magdeburg with a striking victory for Martin Horn against Dick Jaspers: 40-22 in 15. Michael Nilsson was the best man for his team in the match against Barbeillon, whom he defeated in 22 innings.

The bundesliga is now off for 6 weeks due to the international program of many players.
