Women's world stars in Jennifer Shim tournament

NEW YORK - Before the men's tournament of the Open Verhoeven in New York, the former Sang Lee tournament, a field of strong women three cushion players will show up in the Carom Cafe for the Jennifer Shim International tournament. That tournament has the name of the lady player who performed in the previous editions, was very popular in the women's billiards in the USA and has suddenly passed away.

The women play from 18 to 20th July.

Many top players from the women's three-cushion come to the Carom arena, such as the current World and European champion Therese Klompenhouwer from the Netherlands, the former world champion Orie Hida from Japan and European number two Gülsen Degener from Turkey.
