PORTO - The FC Porto, stronghold of the new European team champion, is facing a new challenge. The World Cup cycle 2017 continues with the next showdown in the wonderful arena of FC Porto from 3 to 9 July. The complete world top, with Dick Jaspers, Dani Sánchez and Frédéric Caudron as the top three players, competes in a field with a total of 150 participants for a new global stage.
The fourteen seeded players are, in sequence, Dick Jaspers, Dani Sánchez, Frédéric Caudron, Marco Zanetti, Nikos Polychronopoulos, Jérémy Bury, Torbjörn Blomdahl, Haeng-Jik Kim, Sameh Sidhom, Jae Ho Cho, Eddy Merckx, Murat Naci Coklu, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen and Jung Han Heo.
The three wildcards are given to Ihab El Messery and Myung Woo Cho (UMB) and Joao Pedro Ferreira on behalf of the organization.
