The Dynamic Billard Portuguese Open and Women Open are opening its doors for the players today. In the open event, 191 players have announced their participation into this prestigious event which will be held in Salgados Palace Hotel in Albufeira, Portugal.
33 nations from all over the World are represented at the upcoming Euro-Tour events in Portugal. Once again, the prize money of 36.000,-€ as well as coveted ranking points are at stake for the contestants. The venue this time is a nice and beautiful holiday resort where the players will definitely have the chance to spend some nice time when they are not scheduled for their matches.
This year, the Euro ranking is even more important than in „normal“ years since the best two of the rankings after this event will be representing Europe at this year’s World Games to be held in Wroclaw, Poland.
The practice tables are already in use and frequented by the players who arrived yesterday or have already played in the European Championships the last two weeks.
The Open event will be joined by the EPBF Portuguese Women Open. This event will also start on March 30th with the finals played on April 1st. So far, 56 of Europe’s top female pool stars have confirmed their participation into the event that holds another 3.000,-€ in prize money.
Every day, one match from the event will be shown LIVE on the Facebook page of the EPBF.
