In a very one-sided final match, Dominic Jentsch (GER) crushed David Alcaide (ESP) with 8:1.
“I feel completely overwhelmed”, said Jentsch after the final. “This is my first Euro-Tour victory; my best rank so far was 17th”. The final match can be described with a few words: Jentsch was simply too dominating for Alcaide and left no chance for the strong Spaniard. Whatever aspect of the game is taken, Jentsch was better. His break shot, his safety play, his pocketing skills… his performance in this final was second to none. When asked what he thinks it is that makes him dominate his opponents so clearly, he replied: “I always try to do my best. I think from shot to shot and get the best out of me.” “Sometimes you get momentum, sometimes you don’t. I practice very hard and recently I get awarded for all my efforts.”
