The winner: Martine Christiansen (NOR)

In a tight final match, Martine Christiansen (NOR) defeated Ina Kaplan (GER) with 7:6 and won the title of the Dynamic Billiards Women's Euro-Tour Treviso Open 2012.

It would not be fair to say that one player was better than the other. Both players played very solid throughout the tournament. They both seemed to struggle a bit with the different conditions on the TV table. Christiansen's break was better and more consistent. Kaplan had a few dry breaks and could not really get momentum as she did during her previous matches. In the end, a nail-biting finish took place and Christiansen had the better end in her favour, taking the rack, the match and the title with 7:6.

"It could have been the other way around", said a modest Christiansen after the final. "I was very relaxed in the final up until the very last rack", said Christiansen, "then all my nerves started hitting on me." "I knew I was having a really hard time if I wanted to win this match because Ina has played very strong in this tournament." "In the final, Ina missed a couple of makeable balls which gave me the possibility to capitalize from." "I am really happy and I cannot believe I have won this great tournament", said a proud Martine Christiansen in the end with a smile.
