Kozoom Foos Interview with Alexander Di Bello

Alexander Di Bello is Germany´s No.1 in the national and international combined rankings. We asked him 5 questions about tablesoccer and his participation at the World Series by Leonhart:

1. What does the ITSF World Series on Leonhart mean to you? Why do you participate?

Since Leonhart is my home table, the World Series by Leonhart has always been and will always be the most important tournament of the year. My goal is to constantly improve my performance und to achieve a higher placement every year. And of course, my big goal is to become world series winner.

2. Who will be the strongest opponent for you this year?

That's a tricky question - there are so many good teams. Among the German teams, I think that Jörg and Marvin will play a good World Series since they showed a good performance the whole year through. And you also have to watch out for Long Long and Yannik - both of them already won the title in singles.

3. Who will be your partner in the Open Doubles and why?

Felix and me will play the Open Doubles. As a team we started out last year - and till now playing together has always worked well. For me, Felix is the biggest talent in Germany! It's just always fun to play tournaments with him - even if a tournament doesn't work out the way we wanted it to, we still have a good time.

4. Doubles or Singles. What is your favorite event?

Usually, Single has been my strongest discipline. But this has changed: I kinda like Double more now since you can play way more tactical which makes you able to beat even stronger teams.

5. What is your personal goal of the tournament season 2016?

Right now, I am ranked first in Germany and I would like it to stay like this. When it comes to ITSF, my goal is to stay among the Top 10. And I would be very happy to achieve a placement among the Top 3 at the World Series by Leonhart.
