He became World Champion in the Men Singles in 2009 and World Champion in the Men Doubles and with the nationalteam of Luxembourg in 2015. Yannick Correia is one of the best players in the world and we took the chance to ask him five questions regarding his participation in the World Series by Leonhart.

1. What does the ITSF World Series tournament on Leonhart mean to you? Why do you participate?

I like to participate because it is one out of the five biggest tournaments of ITSF Tour 2016 and the players from Germany play on a high level which I would like to compete with.

2. Who will be the strongest opponent for you this year?

I´m not sure about it because a lot of players improved very much during the season and some of them I don´t know yet. So the only thing I´m sure about is that I won´t underestimate anyone.

3. Who will be your partner in the Open Doubles and why?

I play together with Tom van de Cauter from Belgium. He has good skills as an offense and defensive player and I always have a lot of fun with him.

4. Doubles or Singles. What is your favorite event?

I really enjoy both of them. These two events are important for me because they are the most prestigious of the tournament.

5. What is your personal goal of the tournament season 2016?

I would like to reach the TOP 3 in Singles and Doubles at the World Series tournament and next year I want to defend the World Cup Championship with the Nationalteam in Hamburg.
